WunderKrammer- A treasure chamber holding mementoes of the past. I think this essay starts to address the "American civilization" and its obsession with reality, or the ambiguity of the American perception of what can be self-identifying and assimilated into the collective consciousness...."creating a network of references and influences that spread to the product of high culture and the entertainment industry." This speaks on the basic psychology (architecture) of the American civilization and how it has turned advertisment & communication into a vehical of morbid amplification.

Spatial & Temporal Sequence

This is a representation of a chase scene in "City Of God". This scene involves the main character running after a police truck through the alley-ways and streets in the City Of God (Brazil). The orange square represents the Police truck and the circle represents the main character (Rocket). The diagram of the scene is divided into eight sections inorder to reflect the number of camera changes. Looking closer at the diagram you will notice that it is further divided into smaller , more evenly spaced sections which symbolizes the seconds and then the frames of the clip. The dancing green line at the bottom of the diagram along with the horizontal gradiant fade are composed to reflect the camera movement in relation to the forground / middle & background. The curvature and position of each object inform us of there movement and orientation through space relative to each other.
